BED & BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION IN BAKEWELL - PEAK DISTRICT

Bakewell hotels & bed & breakfast

Bakewell has a plentiful supply of bed and breakfast accommodation and is conveniently situated for easy access to the Peak District. Bakewell is a lovely ancient market town which is famous worldwide for the Bakewell Pudding.

B&B accommodation can be found along the riverbank, in the beautiful town of Bakewell itself and in umpteen places on the outskirts of the town. Bakewell is the largest town of the Peak and is a good place from which to explore the area. The handsome five-arched Wye bridge is one of the oldest bridges in England being built about 1300.

Close by is the village of Ashford in the water, with its picturesque low arched medieval Sheep Wash Bridge over the river Wye.
